This is a nice neighborhood restaurant. The ambience gave the feel of being in Cuba. I love all the beautiful paintings and mural. So vibrant!! I had crab cakes which were harder than I’m used to but nevertheless they were tasty. My shrimp tacos were delicious and seasoned to my taste. Our cocktails were not water down. They were very good! Our sever was Ms. Shanna, she was very attentive to our needs and came often to check to make sure we didn’t anything. There are TV’s located throughout out the restaurant if you are wanting to enjoy your meal and watch a game.

We decided to try something different of course and this place was wonderful. It felt like a quick fill you up but definitely tasty and filling. We tried the empanada sampler with 2 chicken and 2 beef and they were hot and delicious. The white sauce was tasty and the green sauce was but with a kick. Husband tried the grilled fish with congris rice and plantains and I had the camarones al ajillo with congris rice and plantains as well. Both were very tasty and fresh. The congris rice was very different but putting it all together made the taste pop for sure. The kiddo for chicken tenders and fries and she loves the fries. We also tried the rey's Cuban sandwich and it was amazing. The meat was tender and the bread was soft and fluffy. Needless to say we enjoyed this experiment and would definitely try it again. The waitress was nice and helped us decide on what to try and even took a look at other patrons plates to make sure we got just what we wanted. If you get a chance to try this place, you won't be disappointed.

The place has fantastic food and service! Our server, Shana was wonderful. Our drinks, frozen mojitos, were delicious. Our food came quickly and everything tasted so good. We will definitely be returning and trying more dishes and dessert. So glad that we decided to try this place.

I’ve been looking for the best Cuban restaurant in Atlanta ever since I’ve visited Florida. Papi’s Cuban & Caribbean Grill comes very close to that! I mean the flavor of the food and empanadas were amazing! I was trying go back literally the next day because I enjoy this food so much. No reservations needed, I came in on a Saturday Night with a party of 2 and we were sat down almost immediately. Highly recommend!

I am so glad the Lawrenceville location reopened again. It is my favorite. Sele was so professional, attentive, kind. Took care of my friend and me. Great service and the food is amazing.

Fantastic dinner here via DoorDash. Loved my ropa vieja (shredded beef) and everything else had great flavor and quality. Will definitely order from here again next visit!

Great, great food. Empanadas were delicious. The beef and shredded chicken were seasoned well. I had the Papi bowl with shredded beef which was perfect. It’s rare for me to try Cuban and Caribbean food near my house and I’ve had my eye on this location for a while. I can safely say I was not disappointed by the results. The atmosphere definitely feels like a different country and the staff are friendly. The food is super high quality, the mango milkshake even has real mango bits in it. The sandwiches were delicious, absolutely above and beyond what I thought it would be, the bread was so good. Definitely worthy of 5 stars! I’ll be coming back soon for more off their big menu.
